G-Adopt is a platform that integrates observational data with dynamics, physics, and chemistry. It leverages recent advancements in datasets and inversion methods to enhance geoscientific modelling.

The Challenge

Integrating diverse observational datasets with complex geoscientific models is challenging, requiring advanced methods to achieve accurate and comprehensive data fusion.

Outcomes

Key outcomes of the Pilot Project include:

  • Development of a state-of-the-art finite element platform

  • Integration of geodata with geoscientific models using Firedrake and Dolfin-adjoint

  • Enhanced capabilities for data fusion in geosciences

  • Support for advanced inversion methods and techniques

Who will benefit

Researchers in geosciences, environmental scientists, and academic institutions will benefit from improved data integration and advanced modelling capabilities.
